The Root locus is a powerful approach of design and analysis for stability and transient
response. The loot locus shows how changes in one of a system's parameters (typically is
loop gain) will change the close-loop pole positions and thus change the system's dynamic
performance. It can also be used for determining the range of loop gain for system
stability.
