ChIDE in Languages Other Than English
Localized versions of ChIDE
To use one of these translations, download the file, rename to
"locale.properties" and move into the same directory as global properties
such as the directory "C:/Ch/ChIDE" in Windows.
Localizing ChIDE
The menus and dialogs can be translated into another language by modifying the locale.properties file available in the directory CHHOME/chide, such as "C:/Ch/chide" in Windows.
This file can be opened by clicking the menu Options , then selecting Open ChIDE Locale File for editing in ChIDE. After the modification, restart ChIDE to make your changes effective.

If you contribute a translation, then it is assumed you want it to be made freely
available under the same conditions as other locale property files, unless there is a comment in the
